In development

Big questions.
Little conversations.

Zivoo, a rounded soft-teal learning toy with a cream face panel, two dark eyes, a small smile, a speaker grille on one side and a coral button on top.

Zivoo is a screen-free learning toy that children talk to. It’s being designed to help them practise words, spelling, simple maths and stories through spoken conversation.

Zivoo needs a Wi-Fi connection to work.

What it is

Your child asks. Zivoo answers, and asks something back.

There’s no screen and nothing to tap. A child might ask why cats have whiskers. Zivoo is designed to explain in a sentence or two, then ask what they think a cat uses them for in the dark.

Questions

Things parents ask

Does Zivoo need Wi-Fi?

Yes. Zivoo is designed to connect to your home Wi-Fi, and it needs that connection to hold conversations and run its activities. It isn't designed to work offline.

What activities are planned?

We're developing word practice, spelling, basic maths, storytelling and story reflection (talking about a story after hearing it). The exact set of activities at launch may change as development continues.

Is Zivoo available yet?

Not yet. Zivoo is in development, and the design, activities and app shown on this site may change before it's ready. We'll share firm details when we have them.

What will the parent app do?

The companion app is planned to let you set up Zivoo, choose which activities are available, and see what your child has been practising. The app screens on this site are concepts, not the finished app.

What does joining the waitlist mean?

Only that we'll email you when pre-orders open. It isn't an order or a paid reservation, and you won't be asked to pay anything. If you tick the separate box, we'll also send occasional development updates.
